Sorry for the delay in posting here over the last few weeks. Thanks for still checking in!

One of Scott Tracey’s strongest columns appeared today.

Also, don’t miss the Editorial in today’s Guelph Mercury. CAO Anne Pappert crossed an important line when she used the term “regressive” in describing a direction that some councillors want in the City’s next budget. It was a subjective characterization of that direction and as such was a political statement. Worse, it’s unclear when options towards that direction (up to a three percent tax increase, but less if possible) would be available for consideration by Council as part of the budget prep process.

I agree with you on one point, Ms. Pappert: yes, we are at a crossroads.
